2 decades prior to the start of the series, the awful event that lead to the infection of millions first broke out. With no sign of reversing the damage, the remaining survivors have adapted their society to keep the zombies out and the human population safe.

The least successfully adapted city, and one of the first originally hit with the infection, it gained its name from its absolute lack of human population. Zombies roam freely in destructed ruin and toxic environments.

Within deadzone, violence against other zombies is rampant and tied to one individual in particular. This individual seems highly dangerous to humans as well, and currently resides in deadzone. It is unclear why the infection has not spread further than his arm.

The most successful adaptation is the city of Haven-Z. Fully protected and shielded from all infected threats, the city thrives with state of the art facilities and defense to persistently  keep humanity alive.

Haven-Z's most powerful defense group, Z-fighters were refuges from the apocalypse trained to join forces against infected threats. With the highest level equipment and technology, and a strong pride and love for their city, the Z-fighters are absolutely determined to protect what's left of humanity.

Since the initial outbreak, other strains have appeared with different looks and qualities. Some faster and more agile, others slower yet stronger.

Some zombies, mysteriously, even show traits of humanity...
